LINK Golf Raises $68,039
The LINK™ 's 10th Annual Golf Tournament raised...
Effective Ministries, Inc./The LINK™ celebrated ten years of golf at the 10th Annual LINK™ Golf Tournament at Brookwoods Golf Club in Quinton, Virginia on April 29th and 30th . This year's tournament raised $68,039.00 toward our goal of $100,00. Over the past nine years, this tournament has raised closed to $600,000. With these funds, there has been a continued effort to innovatively develop and expand ongoing projects in Niger, Africa, one of the poorest nations in the world. With your continued support, we have built schools, medical clinics, orphanages, and churches. Golf funds have also been used to dig wells, contribute to famine relief, and help establish micro business development. The funds from the 2010 LINK™ Golf Tournament and Silent Auction will be used for the construction of the Niamey Outreach Center in Niger's capital city. When completed, this center's major purposes will include: classrooms for adult education, emergency housing for pastors and missionaries, housing for medical and short term mission teams, facilities for short term medical clinics, and facilities for famine relief distribution.
