Vision Discovery Mission 2009
This team met with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the missionaries in charge of various projects focused on meeting the spiritual and physical needs of Nigeriens in Niamey, Niger. Team members had the opportunity to understand firsthand and catch the vision of what The LINK™ is doing to help Niger become a healthy, self-supporting Christian nation within the next decade. The team visited many of the places and projects that The LINK™ has built and/or is working with, including businesses, churches, and schools.
Vision Discovery Mission 2008
Twelve team members were privileged to participate in a pioneer program for LINK™. In partnership with Niger's government, we will be distributing the nutritional supplement, Plump'nut. Charting the malnourished children's progress is a priority. The team visited the village where this program has begun and assisted with weighing and measuring the children. They saw first hand many of the projects in which LINK™ has been a partner including distributing Book of Hope, visiting a school, and spending time with the children at Good Samaritan Orphanage.
